On the third day of Christmas my Pontiac gave to me, zero oil pressure readings.
On our way home from dinner the pressure was pegged, and then dropped to zero. Throwing a CEL. Got home pulled the code P0521 oil pressure sensor. Some of you may recall that I was getting my lifters and cam done. A brief Google search seems this can happen. Not sure why.
My modified Mustang is now the “reliable” car.

When the modified car becomes the reliable car, your journey to Jalop-edi Knight can begin.

FIIIVE blown rings! Four bad shocks, three dead bulbs, two worn out pads, and a positively dead battery!
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

On the bright side, you knew it was a sensor issue. My old Rabbit GTI had a flashing LED for oil pressure, and when that didn’t go off after the normal startup test I had the car towed to the shop. Yup, another electrical fault, this time a new cluster circuit board was needed. This on a car that was only 18 months old.

Haha. Well technically they’re both modified now. The Pontiac just got a LS3 cam and a dyno tune, which is probably what caused this.
